Met my son & his girlfriend for lunch after searching for a home cooking place to eat. Wow, what a hidden jewel!My crew got their grilled chicken sandwiches, the smoked bologna sandwich, & I opted for the catfish plate. The catfish fillets were some of the best I have ever tasted and the largest as well. We had sides of fried okra & corn nuggets which too were equally delicious. Their sweet tea is just how southern sweet tea should be…bold & syrupy sweet!Great family run restaurant with great hospitality. Enjoyed seeing their lunch rush with local fireman enjoying true made from scratch home cooking.My only request would be they put fried chicken & some good greens in the menu!Highly recommended by this meat & three/soul food cafe expert.

This little Place is a hidden gem !!! The food was amazing and the service was the best . I barely ate more than Half ofMy food and I was stuffed . Catfish , fried okra , onion rings and hush puppies . Sadly we’re just passing through town in a trip to the Grand Canyon or we would be back for sure .

We ordered a 3-piece fish meal and a burger meal. We were EXTREMELY impressed by the size AND taste of the entire meals, ESPECIALLY the fish. It was as wide as the palm of my hand.Five stars for GREAT food AND AWESOME customer service

AMAZING catfish! It's perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and delightfully tender on the inside. The cook made us a special batch of BBQ egg rolls which were stuffed with moist pork and sweet and savory homemade coleslaw. I'm always a fan of good hush-puppies, and Hometown Grill does them right balancing sweetness with salt. They're crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with chewy bits of corn. I'd love to see what they could do with some collard greens or green beans!

You should try this place. It's a hidden treasure. The fish is especially good.The staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean (as are the bathrooms), and there's good parking.We started dessert - homemade pecan pie for me and banana pudding for her. Very good! Only my grandma ever made a better pecan pie!Our meal was fish (excellent!), hush puppies (also excellent), mac and cheese (good), slaw (good), and sweet tea (excellent).Highly recommend!

Ate here when I was working out of town. The BBQ sandwich is great. The fish and shrimp is about the best I've had. The sides, especially the greens, are the best. If you are working in the area, or traveling thru, I highly recommend stopping by for lunch.

Amazing place! The people were so kind and friendly, and the catfish was the best I've ever had! The banana pudding was fantastic, and the vibe was so fun. 5 Stars!
